What is this body that lives with us?  
Our life is firewood, our body fire,
or: body firewood, life fire.
Fire and wood form one tissue.

Whose tissue is this?
The public burns with curiosity,
the police have the answer.
They call a press conference:
the tissue is the missing person’s.

Wat is dat voor lichaam dat met ons leeft?

Wat is dat voor lichaam dat met ons leeft?  
Ons leven is brandhout, ons lichaam vuur,
of: lichaam brandhout, leven vuur.
Vuur en hout vormen een weefsel.

Van wie is het weefsel?
Het publiek brandt van nieuwsgierigheid,
de politie heeft het antwoord.
Zij belegt een persconferentie:
het weefsel is van de vermisten.
